    Description
    • Repairing electrical planned/unplanned maintenance of machineries in allvessels.
    • Maintaining tools, spare parts inworkshop.
    • Should be able to work in workshopand on-board ship.
    • Maintaining all electricalparts coming from vessels formaintenance.
    • Repair or replace wiring equipmentor fixtures, using hand tools or powertools.
    • Examine electrical system of circuits inelectrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices,like ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to confirmcompatibility and safety of system.
    • Usedifferent types of tools or equipment, like power constructionequipment, measuring devices,
    • power tools, andtesting equipment, like oscilloscopes, ammeters, or checklamps.
    • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofsto put in, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, orfixtures.
    • Diagnose faulty systems, apparatus,or parts, using equipment and hand tools to find the reason for abreakdown and correct the problem.
    • Direct ortrain other employees to put in, maintain, or repair electricalwiring, equipment, or fixtures.
    • Providepreliminary sketches or value estimates for materials orservices.
    • Provide help in times of emergenciesby operating floodlights or generators, inserting flares, ordriving required vehicles.
    • Work on installation,maintenance, repair, and replacement of marine electrical(AC/DC)and electronic systems on board.
    • Otherresponsibilities as assigned by the TechnicalSuperintendent/Technical Manager.

    MinimumQualifications

    • Diploma holder with 2 to 3 yearsrelevant experience or completed schooling with relevant experienceof more than 6 to 7 years.
    • Strong workingknowledge of major brand marine electrical and electronics system;installation, maintenance, repair,replacement.
