About the Job

We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on the company and its competitors.

You will research and analyse financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, prepare reports, and monitor financial movements.

As our Financial Analyst, you will have these main objectives:

Perform financial reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Create and maintain pricing models and coordinate with the sales team for any updates.
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Provide an analysis of trends and forecasts.
Identify and assist in process improvements, including the creation of standard and adhoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
Maintain a strong foundation for financial analysis by creating forecasts and models.
Microsoft Excel proficiency is required, as is familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects).

You will be a good fit if you:

Have a Master's degree in accounting, finance, or economics or membership in a Professional Accounting body, with strong analytical and datagathering skills.
Hold 45 years of business finance or other relevant experience, with a high proficiency in financial modelling techniques.
Are wellversed with Excel formulas and functions.
Have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and are able to work independently.
Are comfortable interacting with executivelevel management.
