    Job Description

    We are recruiting a Senior Frontend Software Engineer with at least 15 years of experience on software engineering for a permanent position within a C4I applications development teamor of an emerging leader on advanced Security and Protection in Abu Dhabi, UAE

    Responsibilities

    • UML-based design for the GIS-based HMI of the next generation C4I system.
    • Develop and maintain a Java based Frontend Software using technologies such as Java FX or Java Swing.
    • Integration, Test and Verification (ITV) of developed software.
    • Create testing software for automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Handle and debug issues coming from internal lab testing as well as from other stakeholders.
    • Work within a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.
    • Work in a multi-disciplinary environment that includes SE, SW, ITV, Simulation, QA, CM.

    Requirements

    Profile / Requirements :
    • Qualification: Masters or Bachelors - Computer Engineer / Software Engineer or related field.
    • 15+ years of experience working as SW Engineer.
    • 10+ years of experience developing frontend applications.
    • Experience in development of C4I application SW for Aerospace and Defence systems.
    • Programming languages: Java, SQL.
    • Knowledge of middleware and message-oriented communication protocols (e.g., AMQP, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, MMQT, NAST, DDS).
    • Experience with GIS, XML, JSON.
    • Experience with UI/UX design.
    • OS: Linux, RTOS, Embedded and Distributed Systems.
    • Team player experienced in working in agile environment, e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills.
    • Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate).

    • Passion for Software Development and Technology in general.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
    • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.

    Nice To Have Experience

    • Programming languages: C#, Python, C++, Qt.
    • Experience with Docker, Websocket, RestAPI.
    • Experience from DevOps and tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity.
