    Description

    Fleet Mechanic(HeavyTrucks)

    Our esteemedclient a front runner in the construction materials sectorspecializing in building materials is currently seeking a skilledFleet Mechanic to carry out maintenance and repair work on adiverse range of mobile machinery in either company facilities ordirectly on public highways when required. Aim to enhance theuptime of equipment by implementing effective and forwardthinkingpreventative maintenancestrategies.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    Proficient inreading and understanding hydraulic electrical and mechanicaldiagrams.

    Perform routineservicing and overhauling of diesel engines especially on cementbulkers.

    Conduct thoroughinspections to detect enginemalfunctions.

    Replace engineparts and ensure properassembly.

    Check mechanicalelectrical brake hydraulic systems and transmission components forsmoothoperation.

    Keep detailedrecords of servicing and enginerepairs.

    Manage inventoryof spare parts and order asneeded.

    Ensure properhandling of all testing and repairtools.

    KeyQualifications andSkills:

    Minimum of 3years of experience preferably 1 or 2years extensive experience inthe ReadyMix ConcreteIndustry.

    Knowledge ofrepairing Betico Air compressors is amust.

    Proficient ininterpreting hydraulic electrical and mechanicaldiagrams

    Skilled inidentifying root causes of failures and implementingcorrective/preventiveactions.

    Capable ofperforming general overhauling of engine and transmission for HeavyTrucks (e.g. Man MercedesIveco)

    Experienced inconducting tests and inspections on machine engineselectrohydraulic and transmission systems to assessperformance.

    Possesses basicsafety knowledge in fleetworkshops.

    Proficient inreading writing and speaking Hindi/Urdu (mandatory) optionalproficiency in English.
