Job summary
Handle new business and renewal underwriting for medical insurance Manage day-to-day underwriting operations in line with company guidelines Ensure compliance with UAE health insurance regulations and internal underwriting policies Liaise with clients brokers and TPAs for underwriting matters Prepare risk assessments risk profiles and quotations Attend to quotation requests and tenders including technical evaluations Prepare quotation worksheets summaries and final offers for approval and release Follow up on quotations to support business conversion Maintain quotation logs and ensure departmental targets are met Review portfolio performance pricing reports and loss ratios Support new product development initiatives Prepare portfolio analysis renewal offers and regulatory reports Maintain proper documentation for regulatory audits record-keeping Coordinate with Operations support major client servicing when required Stay updated on prevailing UAE medical insurance regulations Participate in client broker meetings for follow-ups feedback Support system reviews testing implementation of new requirements Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Department Manager+
+Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical insurance underwriting within the UAE market
- Insurance-related certifications/licenses as required by UAE regulations
