Description

• Assist in the design ofgeotechnical, geophysical and geo-environmental site investigationsincluding recommendations for best intrusive techniques to beemployed and specification of in-situ and laboratorytesting.
• Assist in procurement of siteinvestigation contractors.
• Supervise siteinvestigation contractors, and have previous experience ofundertaking site investigations and logging of soils androcks.
• Undertake terrain evaluation, geohazardidentification and field mapping of rockslopes/outcrops
• Undertake scheduling ofgeotechnical and geo-environmental testing and also interpretationof the test results.
• Assist in the review offactual and interpretative geotechnical, geophysical andgeo-environmental reports produced byothers.
• Assist in the production ofgeotechnical and geo-environmental factual and interpretativereports – including the interpretation of geotechnicaldata.
• Evaluate and interpret data using 2D/3Dgeological and geotechnical modelling.
• Producetechnical notes and geotechnicalspecifications.
