Description

• Carry out welding activities on piping, structural and pressure vessels components in strict accordance with ASME codes, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and approved drawings.
• Skillful in performing welds by SMAW and GTAW in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead) is a must ( welding test will be performed, to demonstrate welder's competency)
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, beveling, and aligning to ensure accurate fit-up.
• Inspect welds visually and with measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve technical issues during fabrication or site installation.
• Maintain welding equipment in optimal condition and follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Record welding parameters, joint details, and inspection results as required for project documentation.
