    Description

    We are currentlyworking with a longstanding local Architecture &Engineering Consultancy company based in Abu Dhabi looking for aContract Engineer (Arabic Speaker) to join theirteam.

    Duties&Responsibilities

    Provide contractexpertise and guidance on Project level and Organizationallevel.

    Preaward supportin specific contract responsibilities (review RFPs assist innegotiations provide advice on risk) and oversee the contractexecutionprocess.

    Support thepostaward contract management activities such as VariationsContract Amendments andGuarantees.

    Review validateor otherwise reply to change requests and/orclaims.

    Collaborate witharchitects project managers and other stakeholders to align projectgoals and objectives with the Contract particulars andfees.

    Manage andensure proper communication (both internally and externally) inmatters related to scope of works and consultant obligations andrights.

    Ensure allcontract obligations and standard requirements aremet.

    Monitor andupdate the status of contract and corresponding obligations/accrued rights from Preaward tillcloseout.

    Issue of anycontractual letters as needed and drafting ofreplies.

    Identifypotential risks and opportunities throughout all the contractstages.

    Advise riskmitigationstrategies.

    Collaborate withproject teams to address and resolve issues that may impact thedesignprocess.

    Alwayssafeguards the companyinterests.

    Provide regularreports on the projects contract status and any otherorganizationalmatters.

    Ensure propermaintenance of relevant project correspondence andrecords.



    Requirements

    Minimum ofbachelor s degree in engineering with demonstrated experienceworking as a Contract Engineer. LLM or LLB is a bigplus.

    More than9 years of experience in the Engineering andconstruction field. GCC experience is a must andpreferably in theUAE.

    Experience withContractors and consultants arepreferred.

    High attentiontodetail.

    Forward thinkingwith excellent organizationalskills

    Exposure toDesignbuildprojects.

    RICS CiarbCertification PMI certifications are aplus.

    Strong workingknowledge of contract or constructionlaw.

    Understands thedesign and project cycles in the UAE (Public and Privatesectors).
