    Description
    • To report for duty punctuallywearing the correct uniform and name badges at alltimes.
    • Organize together with Chef de Partiethe shift on his/her section with regard to mise-en-placeproduction and its service.
    • Take orders fromhis/her Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correctmanner.
    • Collaborate with his/her Chef de Partieto write daily wine, dry store, food requisitions and kitchentransfers on the appropriate forms for the approval of theExecutive Chef / Executive Sous Chef in order to achieve the highstock rotation desired in the section.
    • Maintaingood employee relations and motivatecolleagues.
    • Work to the specifications receivedby the Chef de Partie regarding portion size, quantity and qualityas laid down in the recipe index.
    • Beresponsible for completing the daily checklist regardingmise-en-place and food storage.
    • Attend dailyand monthly meetings with the Chef de cuisine and other meetings asrequested by the Executive Chef / Executive SousChef.
    • Report any problems regarding failure ofmachinery and small equipment to the Chef de cuisine and to followup and ensure the necessary work has been carriedout.
    • Check the main information board to figureout re-change of any Banquets or other information regarding theorganization.
    • Keep the section clean andtidy.
    • Pass all information to nextshift.
    • Accidents and sickness to be written inlog Book and report to the Executive Chef / Executive SousChef.
    • Assist the Chef de cuisine in composingnew recipes and menu ideas.
    • Have a completeunderstanding of and adhere to the company's policyrelating to fire, hygiene andsafety.
