    RAK Academy Khuzam

    RAK Academy (Khuzam) provides both primary and secondary British and IB learning pathways from Pre-K to Grade 12 for 1300 international and local students.

    The Role

    The RAK Academy Khuzam school is looking for a positive, driven, and inspirational Psychology teacher to join a large successful and vibrant Humanities department. In Grades 11 and 12 Psychology is a subject option in both the A-level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways.

    Essential

    · Hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology

    · Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

    · Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning

    · Be highly proficient in the use of technology to support teaching and learning

    · Engage, motivate and support students

    · Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate

    · Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff and have a growth mindset

    · Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities

    · Have excellent communications skills

    · Experience of teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses

    Desirable


    • Experience of teaching Psychology for the IB Diploma


    • Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google classroom


    • Have a proven record of increasing student outcomes
