    Description
    • To consistently demonstrate highlevels of professionalism, leadership and operational skills tostaff and setting an example as a role model for the competencies,skills and behaviours required for thispost.
    • To ensure that all customers'aircraft are refuelled safely, on time, efficiently and incompliance with the Regulations and Standards, and the Airport RampSafety rules.
    • To regularly perform normaloperational tasks including refueling and depot operations,especially during peak hours of activity and as cover for operatorson sick / holiday leave.
    • To continuously seekways to improve levels of performance and efficiency while reducingcosts by optimising the use of equipment, facilities, staff,technology and training without compromise HSE principles andpractises.
    • To immediately respond to allemergencies and when required lead an emergency team by followingthe guidelines and procedures detailed in the emergency manual,including appropriately liaising with other emergency authorities,until more senior management staff ispresent.
    • To be genuinely committed to all HSEregulations and consistently demonstrate real care for personalhealth, site safety and the environment in daily operations. Toactively apply HSE practises and seek opportunities to preventthemselves, colleagues, and the environment from being harmed inany way. This HSE single-mindedness is to be applied in actions aswell as by words and thus demonstrating HSE as a corevalue.
    • Permit Authority – to performas one of authorised signatories capable of issuing work permitsand ensuring a safe workplace environment for others including 3rdparties carrying out construction, maintenance or repair workswithin the depot.
    • To actively ensure allimportant communications (Technical bulletins, Safety Flashes, HSESand Operations Circulars) are clearly communicated to all staff andthat these communications are thoroughly understood, with emphasisto HSE, customers, stakeholders and operationsefficiency.
    • To proactively contribute to themaintaining excellent relationships with customers and stakeholdersby demonstrating a professional attitude, maintaining goodcommunications and deploying excellent service skillsalways.
    • To immediately and accurately reportall customer-related incidents, including delays, so that theAirport Terminal Manager and marketing team can take proactiveaction as necessary.
    • To maintain a timely andaccurate log of all customer communications (face-to-face, phonecalls and emails) and other relevantparties.
    • To be one authorised trainers andundertake to ensure personnel training records are accuratelymaintained and updated.
    • To actively pursuepersonal development in competencies, skills and behaviours,identifying skills gaps and seeking solutions to fill thesegaps.
    • To actively supervise, train and coachstaff and actively encourage their development to ensure ahighly-skilled, flexible, HSE-minded and well-motivatedteam.
    • To maintain good communications with themarketing team and respond promptly to requests forinformation.
    • To ensure appropriate inductionand work permits are completed to control visitors and 3rd Partiesvisiting or working on the site.
    • Deputise forthe Superintendent or Airport Manager if instructed to do so andfollow the specific instructions of theATM.
    • Provided assistance to the ATM &Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining a planned maintenance systemfor all plant equipment and vehicles. Lead or direct operationalstaff to complete planned maintenance and repair of plant andequipment, on time and in full.
