Description
5-6 years' experience in project administration/coordination, in the retail development and/or construction industry in UAE.

  • Coordinates with contractors for the progress of work on site
  • Coordinates with internal departments in terms of project necessities either opening a new shop, renovation or evacuation.
  • Coordination with different departments in terms of sizes requirements for entrances, visuals, wall units, racking system and hoarding.
  • Coordination for Civil Defense equipment.
  • Initial checking of As Built Drawings and documents compared to actual site.
  • Ensuring proper completion of snag items in terms of finishing and time.
  • Asking, negotiating and collecting of quotations for Security Alarm System.
  • Checks the implementation of the installed devices such as CCTV Camera, lights fitting, speakers, smoke detectors and sprinklers as per the approved drawing.
  • Check requested items related to the project fitting such as shop fitting, lights fitting and etc.
  • Arranging work permits from various malls for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers or for the internal maintenance team.
  • Communicates with the Mall Management for reinspection and other related issues related to timely opening.
  • Supervising and coordinating with the contractors for Maintenance works such as broken glasses, ceiling cracks, water leakage, electrical issues, broken tiles etc. (If it is within Maintenance Warranty and if not collection of quotations from contractors is required)
  • Receiving and forwarding of tenders to consulting and designer company.
  • Preparing of documents needed by the nominated contractor of a new project for payments processing.
  • Collecting of quotation from suppliers and making summary.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by the Retail Development Manager from time to time.
