    ROLE OVERVIEW


    As a Partnerships & Industry Outreach Intern, you will be on the front lines of Proplr's growth identifying, contacting, and nurturing relationships with companies, industry professionals, and organizations across the UAE.

    Your primary mission is to bring in industry partners who want to engage with Proplr's student community through one of our four partnership pillars:
    Innovation Challenges, Talent & Recruitment, Event Sponsorship, and Mentorship & Culture.

    This is a high-impact, outward-facing role. You will be making cold calls, sending outreach emails, attending networking events, and following up with potential partners.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE SELLING
    You will pitch companies on four engagement models, each with a clear corporate return:

    Innovation Challenges


    Deploy Gen-Z student teams to solve real business challenges to me company CSR goals and deliver mini market-ready prototypes for partner companies.

    Talent & Recruitment

    Give companies priority access to a pre-vetted shortlist of high-skill students already trained in their industry's core competencies.

    Event Sponsorship

    Brand visibility at Proplr's flagship Demo Days, Career Conferences, and Summits across Dubai and the UAE.

    Mentorship & Culture

    Connect company professionals with Proplr students as mentors, boosting employee engagement and CSR scores.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Outreach & Prospecting

    Research and build a target list of companies across relevant UAE industries (tech, finance, healthcare, sustainability, education)

    Conduct cold outreach via phone calls, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Proplr and its partnership opportunities

    Craft personalized outreach messages and pitch materials tailored to each company's goals

    Follow up consistently and manage a pipeline of warm and cold leads

    Partnership Development

    Schedule and attend introductory calls and meetings with potential partners

    Present Proplr's partnership pillars and match companies to the right engagement model

    Support the co-founders in preparing proposals, partnership decks, and MOU documentation

    Coordinate mentor sign-ups for career panels, industry talks, and Mentor Office Hours sessions

    Relationship Management

    Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all outreach activity in Proplr's CRM or tracker

    Nurture existing partner relationships through regular check-ins and event invitations

    Coordinate logistics for partner-facing events including Demo Days, Industry Innovation Challenges, and Mentor Talks

    Research & Reporting

    Track outreach metrics (calls made, emails sent, response rates, meetings booked, conversions)

    Compile weekly progress reports for the co-founders

    Research industry trends, competitor partnerships, and new prospect verticals


    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    Required

    Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related)

    Confident communicator comfortable picking up the phone and reaching out to strangers

    Persuasive, persistent, and professional in all written and verbal communication

    Highly organized and able to manage a busy outreach pipeline without dropping the ball

    Genuine interest in startups, education technology, and the UAE business landscape

    Fluent in English; Arabic is a significant advantage for local outreach

    Bonus Points

    Prior experience in sales, BD, fundraising, or any client-facing role

    Existing network within the Dubai/UAE corporate or startup community

    Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Notion, Airtable, or HubSpot

    Genuine passion for student development and bridging the gap between education and industry
