Position Title:
Head Chef - Arabic Restaurant

Employment Type:

Salary:
Depending on experience and qualifications

Experience: 4 years

Job Location:
Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Role:
Ø Ensure all food is prepared as per food preparation requirements

Ø Supervise the kitchen staff and monitor the work of staff to ensure all tasks are done as required

Ø Ensure all kitchen staff are aware of their duties and what is expected of them

Ø Determine quantities to be cooked and size of portions to be served

Ø Check quantity and quality of stock received

Ø Maintain stock levels of all kitchen supplies - PAR

Ø Act as kitchen Manager to the kitchen staff team on shift

Ø Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers

Ø Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff

Ø Give staff feedback on their performance to enable staff development

Ø Ensure any staffing issues are resolved fairly and quickly

Ø Ensure wastage is minimized by careful supervision of food preparation methods

Skills Requirements:
Ø Positive attitude

Ø Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Ø Have strong experience in cooking skills

Ø Have ability to manage people

Ø Excellent grooming standards

Ø Willingness to take initiative and make decisions

Ø Ability to delegate tasks effectively

Ø Great time supervision skills

Ø Good communication skills
