    Description
    • Maintain an effective bar servicewith an emphasis on high quality, efficientservice.
    • Check that Guest service standards areset, implemented and monitored, and continuouslyevaluated.
    • Set-up of the outlet in accordancewith the pre-determined standards of theoperation.
    • Comply with licensing regulationsand hotel procedures relating to the bar and service of alcoholicbeverages and conduct staff training sessionsaccordingly.
    • Demonstrate a perfect knowledge ofall beverages served in the bar, how beverages are prepared (torecipe) and presented, and how Bar personnel are trained topossesss this knowledge and the application ofit.
    • Ensure compliance with and the propertraining of Team Members so that all Company Health and Safety, andFire Regulations and procedures are understand andapplied.
    • Ensure all Team Members are impeccablypresented and adhere to the correct uniformstandards.
    • Deal with sudden staff shortagesthrough absenteeism and report all absences according to CompanyAttendance Procedures.
    • Complete all necessaryadministration in accordance with Company procedures relating toall staff members.
    • Maximise revenue andincrease average spend per person through upselling, high customerservice standards, effective training and motivationaltechniques.
    • Must be able to work for long hourscontinuously whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiasticdemeanour.
    • Requires good communication skillsin English, both verbal and written.
    • Must havea strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable healthstandards.
    • Have an in-depth knowledge ofspirits, cocktails and wines and be able to confidently discussthese topics.
    • Minimum 2-3 years experience in asimilar role at luxury hotels or stand alonerestaurants.
