Overview:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with our key clients. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate and execute events that exceed client expectations while maximizing profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:


  • Develop and maintain strong, longlasting relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Understand clients' goals, objectives, and preferences to tailor event solutions accordingly.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or crosssell services to existing clients.
  • Conduct regular checkins and meetings to review project progress and gather feedback.
  • Anticipate and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the planning and execution phases.

Project Coordination and Execution:


  • Collaborate with internal teams including event planners, vendors, and logistics staff to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation.
  • Manage event budgets to ensure profitability while delivering highquality experiences.
  • Conduct postevent evaluations to assess success against client objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients on project status, budget utilization, and other relevant metrics.

Business Development and Growth:


  • Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts and pursue strategies to expand our services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, presentations, and pitches for new business opportunities.
  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to promote our company's services and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and collateral to support business development efforts.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the field of event management
  • Proven experience in account management, sales preferably within the event management or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Asana, Trello).
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and event coordination.
  • A proactive and resultsoriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to clients and driving business growth.
