- Serve asproperty operations / maintenance point of contact for facilitiesissues in complex facilities as defined above; initiate workrequests, monitor completion; manage maintenance and renovationsbudget; coordinate and monitor routine maintenance servicescompletion (trash, utilities, custodial, pest control, long termpreservation, inspections, grounds, landscapes, alarms, systems& equipment), suggest metrics, monitor and report related ; Usethe ServiceNow system to receive and address work
- Perform condition assessments on appearance,equipment, or troubleshooting ( formulated by another group, FSM),analyze results and decide status; identify and establishpreventive maintenance plan; coordinate & integrate utilityusage/optimization(monitor usage, gather info, providerecommendations, follow-up, shutdown requirements), analyze dateand provide recommendations; coordinate, direct, inspect andapprove contract work, third party vendors; identify, recommend& implement building operations & process modifications tothe facility for increased productivity and/or cost reduction,manage related budget; coordinate maintenance logistics (to avoidfaculty conflicts, events).
- Implement facilitysecurity programs by developing procedures/practices, distributingkeys, providing building access, monitoring access records,assessing security infrastructure needs (security cameras,interlocks, alarms); and assessing and changing accessschedules
- Complete project coordination by:performing the assigned tasks within department projects; acting asa project coordinator/liaison; and overseeing and executingprojects (limited to small, local projects), including theirorganization, scheduling, budgeting, and
- Serveas safety management coordinator by overseeing fire inspections andcoordinating with designated SoE safety professionals on othersafety
- Coordinate communications services withSoE IT and oversee mailing services, shipping and
- Coordinate space management and planningactivities including: analyzing moves for minimal disruption; movecoordination; space inventory; space allocation tracking;specifying set-ups; maximizing space utilization; providing inputinto facilities renewal model; and capital plan implementation (asassigned).
