    Description

    Manage the cardiovascular diagnosticdepartment and oversee all staff to ensure high-quality patientcare.

    Manage diagnostic equipment, ensuringthat it is properly maintained and functioningcorrectly.

    Coordinate patient schedules andensure that patients are properly prepared for diagnosticprocedures.

    Manage clinical schedules andindividual performance to ensure optimal productivity across theecho, vascular and heart rhythm teams.

    -Supervise staff, ensuring that they are properly trained andqualified to perform their duties.

    Collaboratewith physicians and other professionals to ensure accuratediagnosis.

    Develops business cases for servicegrowth.

    Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and maintain accurate records.

    -Monitors and enforces CCAD standard operating policies andprocedures.

    Develop and implement policies andprocedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of thedepartment.

    Communicates with other departmentsto ensure understanding and compliance with policies and proceduresrelated to accreditation.

    Manages personnelissues and coordinates recruitment efforts.

    -Develops new and effective ways of organizing systems to maximizethe department's resources.

    -Coordinates efficient patient flow through thedepartment.

    Functions as a technical resourceand advisor on procedural techniques.

    Overseesthe design, implementation and evaluation of existing or proposedmodalities.

    Assists with the development ofoperating and capital budgets for thedepartment.

    Coordinates the inventory andmaintenance of equipment and supplies.

    Overseestraining and continuing education on new equipment andtechnology.

    Assists with research projects andstudies as needed.

    Any other duties asassigned.
