Role Summary

We're looking for a Ast Manager Quality Assurance to join the team and focus on enhancing Ultra Fresh quality proposition (Fresh Produce, Fresh Meat & Seafood) in our own Grocery Store "tMart", which is the region's first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices.

The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq

What's On Your Plate?

Lead a team of inspectors across countries we operate in.
Develop standard operating procedures as required
Work closely with Category Managers to ensure team is aligned with regulatory requirements
Identifies and develops performance indicators and project improvement opportunities
Use auditing as a proactive tool for improvement compliance and challenge existing practice where appropriate
Manage notification, responsiveness, containment, root cause determination, corrective actions, and closure of supplier quality issues
Support the complaint handling process to assure timely and accurate feedback
Assist in and manage the verbal communications and visual checks of work activity to ensure quality requirements are met

Qualifications

What Did We Order?

Self directed with strong organizational skills and attention to details
Strong communication, report writing and grammar skills
Occasional foreign and domestic travel as required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from fouryear college or university in Food Sciences or Agriculture-Biochemistry; and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Fresh Processing industry in the capacity of a Quality Assurance Manager.
Licensures: Must have a valid driver's license.
