    Urgent requirement for Contracts and Procurement Executive  is required for our client in Abu Dhabi ,UAE

     Strong experience in procurement, supply, or vendor management.--Must

    Understanding of laws and regulations related to contracting and supply---Must

    Proficient with  computer applications and e-procurement system--Must

    Overall Job Purpose

    To execute and manage purchasing operations at the center in accordance with approved policies and procedures. This includes receiving purchase requests, obtaining quotations, evaluating them, issuing purchase orders, following up on delivery, ensuring quality procedures, efficient spending, and achieving best value for money.
    Key Responsibilities
    1. Receive purchase requests from different departments and review them for completeness as per approved procedures.
    2. Search for new suppliers, update the supplier database, and verify their eligibility.
    3. Follow up on the delivery status of goods/services and resolve any issues related to delays or quality.
    4. Compare quotations technically and financially and submit recommendations to the concerned management.
    5. Issue purchase orders after approval and upload all supporting documents.
    6. Follow up on the supply of goods or delivery of services as per approved purchase orders.
    7. Handle issues related to delays, quality, or non-compliance.
    8. Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding payments as per purchase order terms.
    9. Maintain and archive purchasing documents and update records in electronic systems.
    10. Contribute to developing procurement policies and procedures and improving efficiency.
    11. Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities and compliance levels.
    12. Perform any other related tasks as required by the nature of the job.
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply, or vendor management.
