Description

Dark Emerald Studios is looking for a creative & skilled 3D Environment Artist & Set Dresser (Unity3D) who is passionate about games and has a creative vision of the visual quality and mood of a game environment through in-editor prop placement, level construction, lighting, post-processing, and composition.

This is a full-time position and remote work is not available (We will provide relocation assistance). We will also provide guidance and training to our production pipeline workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create highquality levels and set dressing pieces with the use of modular assets, premade visual effects and lighting
Create proper 3D assets that fit the narrative of the game based on concept art & references
Use props, sprites, effects, lighting and layouts to visually tell a story
Build creative environments and pleasing compositions within performance budget and design constraints
Communicate and collaborate with other departments

Skills & Requirements:

Must be in the United Arab Emirates (preferably Dubai). Remote work not available
Must have at least
2 years of experience with the Unity engine and any other 3D modelling software (e.g. Autodesk 3DsMax/Maya, ZBrush, Blender, etc.)
Expertise in scene construction, prop placement, static & dynamic light placement
Keen eye for composition, silhouettes and form to make a believable world
Understanding of 3D game asset creation workflow
Creative and technical problem solving skills
