    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • To act as afocal point providing continuity for airline companys needs andrequirements
    • Responsible for all demandrequests associated with your airline/customer portfolio ensuringthese demands are raised and fulfilled in a timely manner inaccordance with contracted requirements & sources of supplyare identified. Highlight any potential shortfalls proposingpossible solutions with the supplier andairline/customer.
    • Provide a weekly update tothe operational team including when various checks andmodifications are taking place ensuring that shipping routes arepreempted and timely updates to the airline/customer.
    • To be aware and assist as and whenrequired with the airline/customers daily operational demandsprocess assisting in the fulfilment of customerrequests.
    • Monitoring customer backlogs eithersystem or operational ensuring customer delays are kept to aminimum whilst maintaining excellent communication with thecustomer informing of potential alternative solutions &disruptions of supply.
    • Regularly checking theInventory in order to fulfil customerrequirements.
    • In the case of a Nil; or No stocksituation within the inventory investigate the possible fulfilmentof the open demand by expediting the Repair/Purchase Orders or FOCexchange with the Repair vendor. Review the system foralternatives; review relevant OEM websites for an alternative thatmay be in stock. In the event the demand cannot be satisfied fromany of the aforementioned processes then tender the market for themost cost efficient supply solution.
    • Once thedemand has been fulfilled by either an internal or externalsolution follow the demand through until shipping information hasbeen provided by the freight forwarder & communicate thisinformation and any other updates to thecustomer.
    • Providing feedback to the SeniorOperations Managers where future improvements and changes to ourprocedures will enhance theoperation.
    • Proactively engaging with theallocated Program Managers to ensure implementation of allcontractual requirements to guarantee customer satisfaction andmeeting contract obligations.
    • Ability toidentify potential problems and risks related to demand fulfilmentat an early stage
      evaluating and anticipating implicationsbeing proactive with all stakeholders in developing and definingany contingency/recovery plans andactions.
    • Responsible for maintaining your ownpersonnel training and development ensuring all mandatory coursesare read and completed within My Connection. Being aware of andadhering to all company policies andprocedures.
    • Ensuring that where consumption canbe forecast (usually for scheduled maintenance) economicprovisioning action is taken to provide requirements in a timelyfashion moving the need to purchase additional stock to maintainschedule. This may require a need to work closely with the Chicagobased Inventory Manager
    • Regularly exploring themarket for new suppliers that could improve effectiveness increaseprofitability or enable the company to embark in a wider range ofactivities.
    • Regularly review customer MBKs andreport on the status of fulfilment initiating the requiredtransactions to maintain the MBK within the agreed parameters.Recommend changes to the MBK in conjunction with the ProgramMangers ensuring key operational components are held within theMBKs to meet fleet evolution and contracteddeliveries.
    • Ensure that all components floatlevels accurately reflect the operational requirement by producinga statistical analysis so that any surplus or shortfall can behighlighted and rectified.
    • Ensure all reorderlevels minimum order quantities etc. are reviewed for efficiency toprevent overstocking and/or stockout at allwarehouses.
    • Establish and maintain a highquality of service to internal and externalstakeholders.
    • Build and maintain good customerrelationships making yourself available to answer customerquestions in a timely manner.
    • Report allinformation collected regarding any issues complaints customerinternal changes best contact/interlocutor fleetevolution.
    • Event management: To be in controlof personal financial events raised against the operational teamensuring these are reviewed daily actioned accordingly and approvedin a timely fashion so as not to disrupt the invoice clearanceprocess negating potential accounts that may be put on holddisrupting the supply of components.
