    Description
    The Specialist – Project Management Office reports directly to Head - Strategy & Business Excellence, plays a pivotal role in driving strategic project execution, ensuring operational excellence, and maximizing shareholder value. This role is responsible for supervising the PMO department, assess proposed project viability and impact/outcome, program management of all project, assess completed project impact, embedding best practices, and aligning initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives. The incumbent will ensure that all projects contribute to long-term value creation, while supporting other sections within Strategy & Excellence division.
    1. Supervise the planning and execution of high-impact projects aligned with corporate strategy.
    2. Ensure projects deliver measurable business outcomes and contribute to shareholder value.
    3. Monitor project portfolios for alignment with strategic priorities and resource optimization.
    4. Implement and promote business excellence methodologies (e.g., EFQM, Lean Six Sigma).
    5. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across project lifecycles.
    6. Ensure projects are designed and executed to deliver operational efficiency, cost savings, and innovation.
    7. Enforce PMO governance standards, policies, and procedures.
    8. Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
    9. Facilitate project audits and reviews to ensure transparency and accountability.
    10. Develop and maintain dashboards to track project performance, ROI, and strategic impact.
    11. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on project health, risks, and value realization.
    12. Lead post-implementation reviews to assess impact and capture lessons learned.
    13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder alignment and engagement.
    14. Mentor project managers and team members to build project management capabilities.
    15. Act as a change agent to foster a culture of excellence and strategic thinking.
