    Description

    · Strategy: Develop annual parts& vehicle logistics department business plan andstrategy.

    Set and agree on individual businesstargets in order to meet the annual business plans and targets asset by the after sales department.

    · Sales Operations: Develop partssales and distribution network.

    Identify newcustomers and maintain existing customers to increase parts salesvolumes and profitability. Develop competitive pricing &authorize discounts to maintain customer satisfaction anddepartment profitability. Prepare & submit monthly reportsdetailing all key figures associated with the role for managementreview.

    · VehicleLogistics: Analyze shipment volumes and prepare storage plans toensure that proper storage capacity is available at all times.Manage vehicle movements to the designated location to ensureefficient, cost effective inventory management and vehicle storagemaintenance is conducted as per manufacturer standards. Manage theprocess for completing documents and other requirements for customclearance to ensure custom penalties are avoided and consignmentsare cleared.

    ·Team Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, coach,counsel, provide support and necessary tools. Create and ensureimplementation of training plans and programs to enable team toaccomplish their tasks efficiently.

    · Inventory Management: Manage groupwise stock ordering of parts receipts and ensure correct documentrecords in Autoline. Ensure that adequate stock levels aremaintained at all times minimize obsolete stock with the giventhresholds while balancing business demand against carrying cost tomaximize profits.

    · Marketing: Actively participate inthe preparation of annual marketing plans (initiatives/campaigns).Execute approved plans for the purpose of enhancing brandrecognition, increasing sales and meeting targets. Highlightissues/opportunities, recommend and implement counter strategies toensure competitive position is maintained.
