- Responsible for the sales, theorganization and the quality of the services delivered to thecustomer for the Front Officedepartment.
- Covering daily Front OfficeSupervisor Tasks: handle different guest challenges and situationsand be part of the first response emergencyteam.
- Perform any other duties that may beassigned from time to time by Assistant Front OfficeManager.
- Replace efficiently the AssistantFront Office Manager during his/her day off orholidays.
- Define the organization of work to beperformed by the team members, and supervise, co-ordinate and plandaily activities of personnel.
- Responsible forthe Front Office operational - Reception Agents andBellpersons.
- Ensure that the standards of theBrand and all associated procedures are applied on a day-to-daybasis.
- Organize Front Office department relatedactivities.
- Organize the daily briefing andtogether with the Assistant Front Office Manager the monthlydepartment meeting
- Brief front-office staff onevents, promotions etc.
- Aware about localrequirements (follow up and responsible for DTCM reports and Policerequirements).
- Ensure the achievement of thehighest occupancy in the complex at the best rate, as per hoteltarget.
- Prepare the daily sheet and organize abriefing with Reception and Bellpersons (handover to the next shiftleader).
- In charge of planning of the FOdepartment during the night.
- Provide a first response in case ofguest issues, liaising with the Cluster Rooms Division Manager andwith the HODs (Front Office, F&B, Security, Engineering),update the Front Office Supervisor log and be part of the firstresponse emergency team.
- Ensure that there iscompliance to all work legislation in thedepartments.
- Pay special attention to properupkeep of the hotel, especially of the front desk, hallways, thelobby and the Parking lot and rooms.
- Trainsteam members and co-ordinate the monthly on the job training forthe whole department.
- Prepares and check thework schedules.
- Brief night staff about dailyactivity of the hotel
- Inspect all public areas,F&B outlets, back of the house, whenever possible takeaction or report to the HOD.
- Try to conserveenergy and ensure cleanliness of thecomplex.
- Ensure close co-operation with otherdepartments.
- Bachelor Degree in Business orsimilar preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 yearsoperational experience in Front officefunctions
- Strong reporting and analyticalskills
- Excellent team player and communicationskills
- Service focused personality isessential; experience is an asset
