National Express , in partnership with Shorterm Grou p, isproviding an exciting new opportunity for motivated car mechanicsto upskill and become skilledPSV/Bus

      Engineering Technicians .Thisopportunity is currently available at Acocks Green, BirminghamCentral, Walsall, West Bromwich or Yardley Wood. You will beenrolled onto the IMI (Institute of Motor Industry) accreditedlight vehicle to heavy goods vehicle upskilling programme, whereyou will be employed by Shorterm Group for the programme duration.This will be 42 hours a week employment contract. You will spendapproximately 6 hours a week receiving 'one toone' training with an experience mentor and the rest ofthe time you will work in a team of experience technicians.You willbe paid £14.43 per hour [£31,515 annual salary]during the upskilling year.You will get 28 days paid holiday perannum [ includes bank holidays]The program lasts 1 year. You willcomplete a series of mapped 'on the job'practical's as well as a series of online training modules[at home learning]. We will proactively support you through theprogramme. Following successful completion of the programme, youwill have the opportunity to begin employment with National Expressas a PSV/Bus Engineering Technician at which point you will receivea significant uplift on salary. To be successful in the program,you'll have good time management,attendance,
