Job Description:

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the game design team to understand the visual needs of our games.
  • Conceptualize and design characters, environments, props, and other game assets.
  • Create detailed art plans and storyboards and ensure they align with game concepts and production deadlines.
  • Develop the visual aspects of the game, such as colors, textures, shading, and character animations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in game design and art.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality assurance process to resolve visual design issues.
  • Effectively communicate visual designs to the development team.
  • Collaborate with the game development team to ensure the feasibility of visual designs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Game Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Game Art Designer or similar role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a broad range of art styles and originality.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, Maya, or similar.
  • Excellent creativity and artistic skills.
  • Strong understanding of game-play design, spatial composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technology used in game design.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, ability to take feedback constructively, and implement changes effectively.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
The Game Art Designer will have a significant influence over the visual look and feel of our games, and we are excited to find the right person for this role


Salary:
AED4, AED20,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
