The Data Reporting and Analytics Consultantwill work in the Research Program on Genes,Environment

and Health (RPGEH) at the KaiserPermanente Division of Research (KP-DOR). RPGEH scientists atKP-DOR

conduct NIH-funded epidemiologicalresearch in conjunction with the Kaiser Permanente Research Bank(KPRB),

a biobank with 400,000 KP adultparticipants with linked genomic, EHR, and survey data. RPGEH alsoworks

to facilitate access to the KPRB byscientists outside KP through the provision of preliminary data andprovision

of deidentified data toaccess-approved researchers. RPGEH scientists focus on a broadrange of research topics,

includingpharmacogenetics, genetic and nongenetic factors affectingpsychiatric and neurological disorders,

visiondisorders, cancers and cancer risk factors, cardiovascular diseaseand risk factors, and other conditions.

Theincumbent will work with RPGEH and other investigators onanalytical projects using EHR and genomicdata

and will be required to preparepreliminary data and de-identified analytical datasets for researchprojects.

Additional duties involveorganizing, managing, and documenting the data resources of theprogram.

Candidates are expected to have aworking proficiency in SAS and SQL environments. Prior experienceworking

on Unix-like environments and HPCsystems, as well as having a familiarity with shell scripts andR/Python

environments will be beneficial.Preference will be given to candidates with prior experiencehandling large scale

datasets, particularlygenomic data from whole genome SNP microarrays, exome, and wholegenome sequence

data. Preference will also begiven to candidates with background and training in biostatisticsand epidemiology.
