What Youll BeDoing

This is a fantastic opportunityfor a seasoned senior project manager to join a renowned retailgroup in the Middle East working as part of the InformationSecurity and Operations delivery team.

TheProject Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of theportfolio of Information Security transformationprojects.

You will ideally have a proven trackrecord of deploying technology led transformation in a Retailenvironment and will help the group to scale our ambitions toprovide seamless retail consumer capabilities across our storeswarehouses brands and countries ofoperation.

• Actively monitorand adjust activities resources and plans to support successfulproject execution across the programmes and projects in yourscope.
• Proactively manage and mitigateprogramme and project risks ensuring prompt escalation andresolution.
• Actively manage the operationalactivity of external vendors and delivery partners whererelevant
• Manage the onbudget delivery throughclose tracking of budget and forecast spend proactivelyrecommending opportunities to maximise the ROI of projectbudgets.
• Work directly with Tech leads(Infrastructure Workplace Technology Retail Supply Chain OperationsDigital Operations Service Management) to align roadmaps anddelivery plans based on their teams availabilities the demands ofthe business and the agreed priorities.
• Workwith the central Portfolio/PMO team to ensure projects under theroles remit leverage consistent good practice project deliverymethods tools and templates.
• Work with 3rdparty suppliers and system integrators to ensure they abide andfollow Chalhoub good practice delivery methods tools andtemplated.
• Take active ownership on thedelivery of projects in your remit communicating status and updatesto senior stakeholders.
• Follow all relevant PMOpolicies processes and standard operating procedures so that workis carried out in a controlled and consistentmanner.
• Coordinate internal resources and thirdparties/vendors for the flawless execution ofprojects.
• Deliver projects ontime within scopeand within budget by minimizing and mitigating projectrisks.
• Develop project scopes and objectivesinvolving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technicalfeasibility.
• Understand customer business andstakeholder needs define priorities and propose solutions (scopedependencies risks budget scheduleetc.).
• Ensureresource availability and allocation.
• Develop adetailed project plan and schedule to trackprogress.
• Use appropriate verificationtechniques to manage changes in project scope schedule andcosts.
• Orchestrate the test activities on theproject to ensure deliverables are of highquality.
• Measure project performance usingappropriate systems tools andtechniques.
• Report and escalate to managementas needed.
• Provide detailed concise andaccurate project reporting.
• Manage therelationship with the business stakeholders internal resources andexternal vendors.
• Perform risk management tominimize project risks.
• Establish and maintainrelationships with thirdparties/vendors.
• Create and maintaincomprehensive project documentation.
• Deliverproject in both Agile (preferably) Scrum and Waterfallmethodologies.
• Participate in relevant projectsand community activities as and when needed

What Youll Need ToSucceed

• Minimum of 7 yearsof Project Management experience using both waterfall and agilemethodologies
• Agile (e.g. Scrum) experience isbeneficial.
• University Degree in ComputingEngineering or
• PMP PRINCE II Agile Scrumcertifications are required.
• Consultingbackground and has experience of working on Information Securityand Technology projects etc.
• On site experiencewith clients is a must
• Retail Industryexperience is a must.
• Proactive with analyticalskills with high attention to detail andownership
• Tooling comfortable with MS Projectexperience with Asana is preferred.
• Vastknowledge of current/emerging Technical/Digital technologiessoftware and relevant processes
• Excellent timeand resource management skills; can manage multiple projectssimultaneously without difficulty in various geographic locationsif necessary.
• Enjoys high pace demandingperformance drivenenvironment.
