Description
Conduct tool box talk at plant site & prepare reports related to HSE and ISO systems.

  • Conduct Hazard Identification, Task Risk Assessment & Environmental Impact Analysis of Plant sites & Offices.
  • Identify Potential Hazards (Electrical/Rotary/Fork Lift/Cranes/Trucks/Chemicals etc) at Plant and suggest the preventive measures
  • Ensure PPE' s is maintained by all staff working on field & production at all times
  • Monitor & control all effluents (ETP, MBR, Cooling Tower) & reactor sludge going out & maintain records
  • Monitor site activities guiding employees in order to control unsafe acts & Conditions.
  • Issue Permit to Work system at site (hot work, working at height, machineries & tools).
  • First aid for emergency & proper reporting with root cause analysis and preventive measures
  • Analyze the flue gases from stacks, distillation columns, tanks etc by using flue gas analyzer before conducting
  • Ensure the inspection of scaffolding before using, erection and during working hours
  • Inspect around the plant area and raise hazards if any unsafe conditions found.
  • Conduct monthly internal audit, maintain the log of all reported HSE hazards & continue follow up till their closing.
  • Counsel & train the workers if found to be doing unsafe act.
  • Lock out, Tag Out & Try Out (LOTOTO) Procedure for Electrical & Rotary Equipments
  • Develop & plan HSE trainings sessions for employees & during onsite visits by customers, guests, contractors & other officials to the factory
  • Develop & plan training sessions of Emergency response team (ERT).
  • Advice staff on safe working procedures while on working & conduct mock drills for emergency
  • Control and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with check list and conduct their audit monthly, further review and make changes on procedure if required
  • Ensure monthly inspection of firefighting equipments (Sprinklers/Hydrants/Guns)
  • Train the employees on firefighting with practical usage of fire extinguishers & related systems.
  • Analyze all Accident/Incident, near misses to find out the Root Causes, to Design Proper Preventive and Mitigation Barriers and prepare Investigation Reports.
  • Follow up against suggestions/ recommendations given in incident reports for the implementation of suggestions & recommendations & report in case of nonimplementation.
  • Conduct internal audits of ISO 9001, ISO 14001& OHSAS 18001 Systems.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party Audit Schedules, Audit Plans & corrective actions for observations
  • Conduct audit for Safety and Housekeeping.
  • Inspect the lightening arrestors, earthing & fork lift spark arrestors monthly
  • Ensure availability of spill kits, first aiders, first aid kits, firefighting teams at all times
  • Conduct the Mock Drill on firefighting, evacuation for medical emergency.
  • Ensure that supervisors, operators and workers are carrying out their job roles in compliance to Asia Petrochem's HSE policy, statutory law and relevant International & local safety codes & standards.
  • Compile HSE documents, oversee PTW & visit production, warehouses and workshops to ensure (SSOW) safe system of work.

Salary:
AED2, AED3,000.00 per month
