    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Workingwith the lead teacher to monitor the classschedule.
    • Assisting teachers with lessonpreparation by getting materials ready and setting upequipment.
    • Revising lesson material withstudents individually or in smallgroups.
    • Ensuring the classroom environment issafe and clean.
    • Overseeing students duringnon-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, andon-field excursions.
    • Collaborating with leadteachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommendsolutions.
    • Documenting student progress andcommunicating with parents to keep theminformed.
    • Helping lead teachers to createlesson plans.
    • Complying with state, school, andclass rules and regulations.
    • Attending alltraining classes, parent conferences, and facultymeetings.

    Teacher AssistantRequirements:

    • High school diploma orequivalent qualification.
    • Bachelor'sdegree in education or relevant field ispreferred.
    • A minimum of 2 years experience as ateaching assistant or similar role.
    • Solidunderstanding of classroom activities and teaching bestpractices.
    • Must have a compassionate andpositive attitude.
    • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
    • Outstanding interpersonaland presentation abilities.
