Job Purpose - As Business Development Manager

  • Indirect & Institutional Sales, at Emirates NBD, your role is to*
  • The purpose of the job is to develop, nurture and maintain relationships with third party sales agencies and mortgage brokers to increase market penetration of Emirates NBD retail banking products namely CC, PL, Mortgage and Auto Loans across UAE.
  • Set sales targets for each Sales Executive and monitor their productivity
  • Strategize to source business within the acceptable banking norms

Responsibilities -

  • Monitor, track and report sales from indirect sales channel partners on a daily basis with an aim to ensure business targets are achieved
  • Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to meet business targets month on month
  • Act as a single point of contact representing the bank to the channel partners, mortgage brokers and auto agencies
  • Develop, execute and monitor sales strategies and plans in order to achieve sales targets
  • Interface with product teams for launching campaigns and promotions
  • Coordinate exception approvals and deviations from products/ credit teams
  • Ensure branches & sales teams comprehend and understand the banks risk and credit appetite Ensure the Sales Executives with channel partners are trained adequately on compliance, products and selling skills

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience

  • Experience in Sales & Business Development/ Customer Service/ MIS
  • Understanding of regional market and customers
  • Knowledge of common banking products
  • Retail Products & Services along with understanding of processes
  • MIS & Analytics
  • Relationship Management skills Strong communication and collaboration skills
