Key Responsibilities:

Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to understand the scope and requirements of fitout projects.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant information for estimating purposes.
Quantify and take off materials required for fitout projects, considering specifications, finishes, and quality standards.
Source and request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.
Analyze and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations to select the most costeffective options.
Calculate labor costs based on project requirements, manpower needs, and productivity rates.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material quantities, labor hours, equipment usage, subcontractor costs, and any other relevant expenses.
Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize costs without compromising quality and functionality.
Maintain a database of historical cost data, including materials, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing, for reference in future estimates.
Continuously monitor and track project costs and update estimates as necessary during the bidding and negotiation stages.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Estimator in fitout projects or a related field.
Strong knowledge of fitout construction materials, techniques, and finishes.
Familiarity with architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately quantify materials and calculate costs.
Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is advantageous.

Salary:
AED5, AED15,000.00 per month
