    Description
    • Data Engineering &Architecture: Lead the development and evolution of big-dataecosystem and data lake architectures to enable data processing,storage, and retrieval, including the integration of structureddata sources from enterprise transactional systems and trustedthird parties and unstructured data sources, including IIoT datafrom manufacturing sites. Day to day responsibilities willspecifically focus on the following -
    • Designand implement robust event-driven streaming architectures utilizingKafka, Azure Events Hubs, and Azure IoTEdge.
    • Lead hands-on development and integrationof streaming solutions using Databricks for real-time analytics anddata processing.
    • Apply expertise in AI/ML(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) to enhanceevent-driven applications and drive intelligentdecision-making.
    • Collaborate withcross-functional teams to architect scalable and efficientsolutions for streaming dataprocessing.
    • Develop and execute comprehensivearchitectural strategies for Azure Edge Computing, ensuringseamless connectivity between on-premises factory systems and cloudenvironments.
    • Collaboration: Engage with globalteams from various disciplines to ensure architectural designs meetcompany objectives and encourageteamwork.
    • Technical Leadership: Providetechnical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and teammembers. Drive innovation and ensure the adoption of industry bestpractices.

    We are looking forprofessionals with these required skills to achieve ourgoals:

    • BS or MSin Engineering or Sciences
    • 10+ years in dataand analytics applications
    • 4+ years ofexpertise in Kafka, Azure IoT, andDatabricks.
    • 2+ years of experience in AI/ML instreaming architectures.
    • Experience inhigh-performance data pipelines and Azure (or AWS or GCP)cloud.
    • 6+ years of experience in programminglanguages like Python, Java, or Scala.

    PreferredQualifications:

    If you have the followingcharacteristics, it would be a plus:

    • Proficient in knowledge graphdatabases, experience in platforms like Anzo,Stardog
    • Familiar with Azure's dataservices and compliance standards
    • Leadership inadopting best practices for event-drivenstreaming.
    • Strong experience inhigh-performance data pipelines and Azure (or AWS or GCP)cloud.
    • Leadership in adopting best practicesfor event-driven streaming.
    • Knowledge ofprogramming languages like Python, Java, orScala.
    • Familiar with Azure's dataservices and compliancestandards.
    • Professional/Architect levelcertifications from leading Cloud Service Provider is aplus.
    • Expertise with Azure (or AWS or GCP)Industrial IoT for manufacturingscenarios.
    • Experience on regulated systemsincluding GxP, SoX, HIPAA & GDPR
    • Azure(or AWS or GCP) administration and DevOps forCI/CD.
    • Project management experience,especially with Agile.
