    Description

    Cvent's Alliance Partnerships isgrowing and is seeking a Channel Sales Executive to join our team.Your primary responsibility will be to develop and close new logos.You will carry a new-booked business quota and will be required todemonstrate solution-selling skills. Additional responsibilitiesinclude effective management of your Sales DevelopmentRepresentative to ensure prospects turn into actual customers, aswell as collaboration with partner Success Managers to expandexisting accounts.

    In ThisRole, You Will:

    • Develop and actively pursue a list oftargeted Key Accounts by creating individual plans of action tosuccessfully convert and close business.
    • Callon and develop relationships with new prospects in an effort tomeet and exceed individual and department revenueexpectations
    • Present cloud-based marketplaceproducts and services
    • Exceed established newbusiness revenue targets for softwaresales
    • Accurately forecast sales opportunitiesvia pipeline report
    • Effectively and accuratelymanage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new businessopportunities
    • Monitor and report sales activitywithin the system
    • Work with Account Managementand Client Services teams to ensure complete customer satisfactionwith the Cvent product and organization
    • Ensurerelationships with key decision-makers for accounts that willprovide new business are continuously developed and relationshipsare strengthened and grown
    • Perform other dutiesas assigned

    Here's What You Need:

    • Bachelor's degree orequivalent experience working with ISV partnerships, multi-channelsales organizations, cloud-based marketplaces, andsubscription-based online directories
    • At least2 years of prior revenue-generating software sales experience (moreexperience is desired)
    • Industry experience inone or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, appexchanges, and the events industry
    • Strongorganizational and detail-orientation skills, with the ability tomulti-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurialenvironment
    • Able to integrate knowledge acrossdisciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, productdemonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, andproduct function
    • Strong sense of initiative andpersonal leadership demonstrating the ability to functionindependently, but must also be able to contribute to teaminitiatives
    • Strong business acumen, ethics, andhigh integrity
