- Assists the Executive Chef withmanaging cost controls and control expenditures for theaccount
- Assists the Executive Chef withplanning and creating menus
- Produces andexecute catering events
- Rolls out new culinaryprograms in conjunction with Company marketing and culinaryteam
- A.S. or equivalentexperience
- Some progressive culinary/kitchenmanagement experience, depending upon formal degree ortraining
- Catering experience aplus
- High volume, complex foodserviceoperations experience - highlydesirable
- Institutional and batch cookingexperiences helpful
- Comprehensive knowledge offood and catering trends with a focus on quality, production,sanitation, food cost controls, andpresentation
- Must be experienced withcomputers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
- Mustbe willing to participate in client satisfactionprograms/activities
- ServSafe certified - highlydesirable
