    A luxury hotel in the centre of Venice, facing the Venetian lagoon and just steps from San Marco, Hotel Danieli, Venice is a 5-star property with elegant and spacious accommodations, while the rooftop restaurant, Terrazza Danieli offers spectacular lagoon views. The historic hotel showcases majestic Venetian architecture that dates back as far as the 14th Century.

    The Role of Executive Sous Chef:

    We currently have an opportunity for a talented and creative Executive Sous Chef to join our Hotel Danieli team in Venice, Italy

    Reporting to the EAM Food and Beverage, you will assist in leading the daily operation of the culinary team which includes 2 Food and Beverage venues, Banqueting, 24 Hour Room Service, and our Employee Restaurant.

    Responsibilities will include selection, talent management, and development of our culinary team, planning and developing menus, food costs, banquet events, hygiene and sanitation, effective planning, budgeting and purchasing decisions, policymaking, and inventory control, and ensuring our guests feel receive the highest levels of service excellence consistently.

    Our Ideal Executive Sous Chef candidate will have:

    A special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of culinary standards consistently and ensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience. You should have a wealth of culinary experience in luxury resorts, a desire to focus on the development of our team, and a creative flair; bringing your personal touch and energy to all our food and beverage experiences.

    You will naturally also be a charismatic, nurturing, and inspiring leader with a strong passion for people welfare and development.

    Fluency in Italian and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Italy.
