Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reporting and certifying the accuracy, sufficiency and uptodate maintenance of accounting records and documents and Tax Returns.
  • Preventing tax evasion, review and submit tax returns of all Al Mulla Group (AMG) entities in compliance with UAE Tax Law and Regulations and Oman Tax Law and Regulations (as applicable).
  • Coordinating accounting staff and heads of AMG entities and assess their performance with respect to maintaining accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions and documents and compliance of UAE Tax Laws and Regulations and Oman Tax Laws and Regulations (as applicable).
  • Improving tax process by developing or implementing best practices and coordinating house tax audits.
  • Develop transfer pricing strategy and ensure implementation across the Group.
  • Assess tax implications on business development projects
  • Liaise with Taxation Authorities for tax related matters.
  • Manage Indirect Tax Risks.
  • Complete Tax Reporting and disclosures for Financial Statements.
  • Assist the Tax Administration Manager in delivering full and complete range of tax administration services to all Al Mulla Group (AMG) entities fully in compliance with UAE Laws and Regulations and Oman Laws and Regulations (as applicable).

  • Build relationship and interact with all AMG entities.
  • Preventing tax evasion, review and submit tax returns of all AMG entities in compliance with UAE Tax Law and Regulations and Oman Tax Law and Regulations (as applicable).
  • Identifying and mitigating all kinds of tax risks in all AMG entities.
  • Coordinating accounting staff and heads of AMG entities and assess their performance with respect to maintaining accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions and documents and compliance of UAE Tax Laws and Regulations and Oman Tax Laws and Regulations (as applicable).
  • Managing tax provision and tax compliance process in all AMG entities.
  • Improving tax processes by developing or implementing best practices.
  • Managing and coordinating in house tax audits.
  • Ensuring that all AMG entities are maintaining accurate and uptodate records its financial transactions and documents.
  • Any other responsibilities that Chief Financial Officer may assign from time to time in relation to tax related matters.
  • ACCA/CPA/CA
  • At least 45 years' experience in the United Arab Emirates Market in Taxation Department or in an Audit Firm (Big10) within the Taxation Department.
  • Bilingual or Arabic Speaker.
