SpecificDuties:

Teachingand Learning:

• Clear understanding of theCurriculum
• Organising the classroom provisionand learning resources and creating displays to encourage apositive and engaging learningenvironment.
• Planning, preparing and presentingsessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range withinthe class.
• Motivating pupils with enthusiastic,imaginative teaching.
• Observing and assessingSEN Students in line with school assessments and identify priorityareas for targeted intervention
• Plan anddeliver a range of intervention programmes to support individualneeds
• Track and monitor SEN pupil progress andthe impact of intervention programmes
• Beingreflective of the classroom provision, sessions taught, progressmade, and adjusting environment, planning and curriculum to reflectthis.
• Meeting with other professionals such asspeech and language therapists, occupational therapists andeducational psychologists, ifrequired.
• Maintain accurate records, developIndividual Education Plans (IEP) for SEN Students and coordinatecare plans
