    Description

    Responsibilities Include ButNot Limited To

    • Conduct evaluations forproject's design compliance with code of practices,standards, and regulations.
    • Development of FireEngineering documents using fire engineering principles and writetechnical reports i.e., Fire & Life Safety Strategy, FEB,FER, FRA, for both buildings and infrastructureprojects.
    • Responsible for the design of firesafety engineering solutions including feasibility studies formaster-planning, and concept to detailed designstages.
    • Prepare fire strategy design along withsupporting engineering arguments, hand or spreadsheet calculations,and computational modelling.
    • Working alongsideother technical disciplines as a team and providing advice bestsuited to the project and the Client.
    • Visit andwork from project office and travel as and when required, locallyand internationally.
    • Participate in projectsite inspections as and when required.
    • Continueto develop and implement core fire safety engineering skills onprojects across a wide range of sectors.

    When required, you will have theopportunity to design fire safety systems including fire alarm,detection, and suppression systems. You should maintain workingknowledge and understanding of the relevant codes, regulations, andclient specificrequirements.

    Here's WhatYou'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree in in arelevant engineering/science required, or Master's degreespecializing in Fire Engineering / Fire Safety Engineering(preferable).
    • 6 to 9 years of industryexperience specifically in Fire Safety Engineering within the builtenvironment in a design / engineering role.
    • ForSenior Engineer level, must have extensive design/consultingexperiences in railway projects.
    • Ideally haveexperience in the preparation of Fire & Life SafetyStrategy, Fire Engineering Briefs, Fire Engineering Reports, andFire Risk Assessment.
    • Ability to undertakescientific calculations related to fire growth, smoke movement andoccupant evacuation.
    • Some experience orunderstanding in CFD fire modelling and evacuation modelling.Knowledge in structural fire engineering would bebeneficial.
    • Good working knowledge of firestandards i.e., SFPE, NFPA, BS, IBC, IFCetc.
    • Good written and verbal communicationskills (clear and concise report writing will beexpected).
    • Basic knowledge of CAD Softwareusing AutoCAD, Microstation or BIM.
    • Innovativethinker who can help shape fire safety strategies and solutions ona wide range of building & infrastructureprojects.
    • A team player who enjoys working withcolleagues in other disciplines and sectors of the construction andother industries.
    • A communicator keen toshowcase the concepts and ideas including presentations as well asdevelop our existing client and internal relationships and createnew ones.
