    Intel New MexicoMaterials Lab is seeking applicants for Lab Technician positions.Lab Technicians will be responsible for working with a team ofengineers and technicians in an analytical lab environment toperform Failure Analysis and MaterialCharacterization.

    The Lab Technician will beresponsible for but not limited to:

    • Responsible for lab daily operationsincluding sample preparation, chemical handling, data collection,customer interaction, tool calibration and other lab sustainingactivities.
    • Providing quality and timely labsupport for technology development tool and process development,excursion response, low yield diagnosis and reliabilityrequirements
    • Will require working on acompressed night shift
    • Verbal and writtencommunication skills and comfortability presenting issues andsolutions.
    • Skills to work well in a diverseteam environment and ability tomulti-task.
    • Skills to work with minimalsupervision and adjust to rapidly changingpriorities.
    • Skills to produce results in atimely manner. Time management ability to prioritize work and workwith a sense of urgency to meetdeadlines.
    • Analytical problem solving andtesting skills.
    • Ability to work independentlyas well as within a team (collaborationskills).
    • Evidence of the ability to trainothers.
    • Comfortable working in a factoryenvironment on a regular basis.
    • Basic computerskills

    Qualifications

    Youmust possess the below minimum qualifications to be initiallyconsidered for this position. Preferred qualifications are inaddition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plusfactor in identifying top candidates. This Positionis not eligible for Intel immigrationsponsorship.

    MinimumQualifications

    • AA degree in Material Science,Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or1yr+ direct hands-on experience with analytical laboratory samplepreparation and analysis techniques.

    PreferredQualifications

    • Courses in statistics/probabilityand/or 6mo+ hands-on experience applying statistical/probabilisticmethods.
    • Experience with Scanning ElectronMicroscopy (SEM), Focused Ion Beam (FIB), Transmission ElectronMicroscopy (TEM).

    Requirements listed would beobtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience,internship experiences and orschoolwork/classes/research.
