    ThePlant Finance Analyst position exists to provide financialexpertise and support for the Plant Strategic Leadership Team andCorporate Product Supply Chain Finance whilst helping to ensureadequate governance and controls at the Plant The Richmond, Indianaplant is an established global pet food manufacturing The FinanceAnalyst will assist in the development of reporting and presentingto Plant Leadership teams, participate in developing budgets andreconciling actual results, and support financial awareness (planttraining on finance) and governance (internal controls/SOX duties).This positions core areas of responsibility will include capitalinvestments, participation in plant initiatives focused onefficiency, root cause analysis, automation, data-driven analytics,dashboard and PI development, MRO procurement, Inventory Managementincluding physical counts, SAP queries, As with all other SalariedPlant positions, the Finance Analyst is a member of the PlantsCoordinating Team typically representing the top 25cross-functional leaders in Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR,Quality, and Environmental Health & The Finance Analyst isa relied-upon consultant to the

    Whatwill youdo:
    • Assist Plant Controller inthe coordination of the Budget, LE, and MRE process by ensuringadherence to timelines and data submission Analyze and verifybudget cost changes prior
    • Collaborate with thePlant Controller and Engineering Team on the Capital Management
      • Engage with theEngineering Team for monthly spending discussions, project status,and asset
      • Preparecapitalization files for monthly review and
      • Coordinate,perform, and document Fixed Asset physical count, and validation ofresults ( potential write-offs,idles).
      • Assistwith the development and validation of Financials supporting theCapital
    • Assist inmonth-end close activities: preparing and booking journal entries;working with budget owners to develop accruals; preparing expenseand balance sheet account reconciliations; and preparing detailedspending reports and variance analysis (overtime, temps,etc).
    • Drive improvementactivities in Accounts Payable to reduce transaction costs andincrease value-added reporting capabilities to the
      • Engage with Plantpersonnel to ensure timely resolution of invoices in MRBR/GRIRquery
      • Monitorpurchase order reports in SAP to ensure timely and accurate goodsreceipts and PO
      • Createpurchase requisitions and convert them to purchase orders afterapproval as
    • Maintain andreconcile petty cash and misc
    • Responsible for leases, includingnew leases, DLC, & associatedbudgets
    • Participate in full physicalinventories and assist in researching inventory
    • Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley audittesting, as it pertains to all internal control
    • Provide support in driving Fundingfor the Growth (FTG) discipline; validate potential savings, trackresults, and ensure implementation of savings
    • Understand and comply with Hill spolicies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs),and Food Identify and report Food Safety issues tomanagement
    • Participation oncross-functional teams and special projects, as needed,necessitating interaction with a broad spectrum of internal andexternal stakeholders, including Colgate Palmolive Shared BusinessService Centers, various Plant Teams, Corporate Partners, IndirectProcurement, Colgate Internal Audit, Vendors, other Mfg Facilities,

    Requirements

    RequiredQualifications

    • Bachelor s degree inAccounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or relatedfields
    • Proficiency with Excel andGoogle Workspacetools

    PreferredQualifications

    • 2+ years of experience inSupply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Customer Service &Logistics
    • CPA, CMA, orCandidate
    • Experience with SAP orother enterprise resource planningsystems
    • Excellent written and oralcommunication skills
    • Ability to workwith cross collaboratively-functional personnel in a team-basedenvironment
    • Ability to workindependently, at times under stressful conditions, to meetdeadlines/commitments
