    Description
    We are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Dubai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping operations and serving as the primary contact with our Accounting agency.

    This role is integral to our financial management, and the ideal candidate will have a track record of bookkeeping experience in the UAE, with a preference for candidates with experience in the entertainment industry.

    Requirements

    Bookkeeping:

    • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining an up-to-date and organized financial system

    Accounting Agency Liaison:

    • Serve as the main point of contact with our Accounting agency, facilitating clear communication and providing necessary documentation for financial reporting
    • Collaborate with the agency to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards

    Financial Reporting:

    • Generate and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    Budget Management:

    • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure financial goals are met
    • Provide variance analysis and financial forecasting as needed

    Compliance:

    • Stay informed about changes in local financial regulations and ensure the company's financial practices align with statutory requirements
    • Assist in the preparation for external audits and support compliance efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • Proven track record of bookkeeping experience in the UAE, with references from previous employers
    • Experience working within the entertainment industry is a significant plus
    • Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
