    GeneralDescription: Our client has anexciting opportunity for a Food Handler/ Kitchen You will performskilled cooking, food preparation, and service This position worksunder close supervision according to set procedures andpredetermined

    GeneralDuties andResponsibilities:

    Thefunctions listed below are those that represent the majority of thetime spent working in this Management may assign additionalfunctions related to the type of work of the job as

    • Usesrecipes and job knowledge to prepare foods, vegetables, meats, andbeverages for various meals, giving due care to achieve highquality taste and
    • Usesportion control and the loading of food carts or steam trays for
    • Assistsin checking orders received for proper price and weight andsatisfactory
    • Assistswith cleaning stoves, cookers, kettles, pots and pans, dishes,refrigerators, food grinders, mixers, tables, kitchen utensils, andother kitchen areas as to meet sanitation
    • Servesfood to clients or County
    • Re-stockssupplies and assists with organizing any requested food andnon-food related
    • Mayparticipate in conducting client food satisfaction
    • Preparessimple reports; completes
    • Performsrelated work as

    Licenses/Certifications:In accordance with the Specifications and Requirements, vendor sstaff are required to retain thefollowing:

    • Haveor can get a Florida Food-HanderCertification
    • Must be ahigh school graduate or have earned a General Education Diploma(GED).
    • Requiresa minimum of two (2) years experience in food preparation,handling, storage, and kitchen sanitation or closely relatedexperience, preferably in a large-scale food preparation

    PhysicalDemands: Physicaldemands refer to the requirements for physical exertion andcoordination of limbs and body movement asfollows:

    • Performsmedium to heavy work that involves walking, standing, stooping,lifting, digging, pushing and raising
    • Involvesexerting between 20 to 50 pounds of force on a regular andrecurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional
    • Involveslifting up to 25 pounds on a regular
