Coordinator - Cargo Operations

    MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To support cargo capacity management while ensuring daily capacity utilization and bookings are monitored.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules Road Feeder Service (RFS) throughout the network and provide 24 hours network support.
  • Monitors flights regularly with a focus on lowcapacity flights.
  • Monitors and handles flight status, queue management, flight logs, rebooking, irregularities, amendments, Handling special loads and Transit Permit
  • Maximises loads on the flight by trimming the flight and rebooking shipments.
  • Coordinates availability of space for shipment booked on RFS
  • Closely monitors flights and RFS by managing the utilization of allotments and releasing the unutilised space back to operations and sales to ensure optimum space utilization
  • Maintains and enhances a good communication flow across the departments to ensure stakeholders are equipped, well informed and up to date with the operational activity.
  • Reviews prebuild up report check in coordination with GHA to ensure all correct cargo capacity is booked on the flights
  • Coordinates with operations for repacking and release of goods to be loaded

Qualifications:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Minimum Education Level Required_
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience Specific Requirements_
  • Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree)
  • Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree)
  • Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements_
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations (CBTA 7.3A preferred)
  • UAE Driving License

_ISR Requirements_:


  • Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations._
