As Assistant Executive Housekeeper, we rely on you to:
Supervise the team and maintain a high standard of service and quality in a consistent manner throughout guest rooms and all public areas
Manage the supervisors and employees to ensure guest rooms and all public areas remain clean and free of safety hazards
Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the annual Housekeeping expense budget and periodic forecasts including specific control measures while executing in a disciplined manner
Coach and develop Housekeeping team members to ensure that they can operate independently and deliver quality and financial results
Support the Executive Housekeeper in ensuring a robust talent pipeline for colleague development in line with succession planning
Provides necessary skills & knowledge training to the housekeeping team to uplift the quality and level of staying experiences of the guests
Handles guests' complaints or dissatisfaction and provides necessary service recovery to delight guests.
Oversee the preventative maintenance of guest rooms, public areas and replenishment of room supplies
Supervises daily room assignments. Inspects all VIP rooms, guest floors, floor pantries and other areas daily
Ensures the highest level of safety and security by facilitating effective training programmes that delivers a high degree of awareness amongst staff
Monitors the implementation and progress of various training programmers on their effectiveness


We are looking for someone who:
Has luxury 5* hotel experience in the UAE in a similar capacity
Has a good knowledge of Rooms and Housekeeping quality standards, expense and cost control, forecasting and budgeting in a luxury environment
Has a solid track record in maximizing guest satisfaction scores in-line with company expectations, with a passion for high quality Housekeeping practices and standards
Is detail-focused and guest-oriented
Has highly effective time management skills and delivery on time
Enjoys interacting with people and being part of the team and surrounding community
Is an engaging, helpful, and trustworthy leader, and always upholds professional values, ethics, and integrity
Communicates and writes with fluency in English
