    JobDescription:

    As an InteriorDesign Engineer you will be responsible for overseeingand implementing the design aspects of interior spaces withinvarious projects in the UAE. Your primary focus will be to ensurethat interior design plans align with project objectives clientrequirements and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closelywith architects engineers and other stakeholders to deliverhighquality interior design solutions that meet aestheticfunctional and budgetary goals.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • InteriorDesign Planning: Develop comprehensive interior design plansincluding layout color schemes materials selection furniturearrangement lighting design and decorative elements consideringproject requirements and client preferences.
    • Conceptualization and Visualization: Createconceptual designs and 3D visualizations to communicate designideas effectively to clients and project teams ensuring alignmentwith project vision and objectives.
    • Technical Design Development: Translateconceptual designs into detailed technical drawings specificationsand construction documentation adhering to industry standardsbuilding codes and regulations.
    • Material Selection and Procurement: Researchevaluate and recommend appropriate materials finishes furnishingsand fixtures that meet quality durability and sustainabilitycriteria while staying within budgetconstraints.
    • Collaborationand Coordination: Work collaboratively with architects structuralengineers MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) consultantscontractors and vendors to integrate interior design requirementsseamlessly into overall project plans and ensure timely projectdelivery.
    • Site Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conductregular site visits to inspect work progress resolve designrelatedissues and ensure compliance with design specifications standardsand client expectations.
    • Client Communication and Presentation: Communicate effectively withclients to understand their needs present design proposals addressfeedback and revisions and ensure client satisfaction throughoutthe design and construction phases.
    • Project Management Support: Provide support toproject managers in scheduling budgeting and resource allocationfor interior design tasks ensuring efficient project execution andcosteffective solutions.
    • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industrytrends emerging technologies and best practices in interior designto incorporate innovative solutions and enhance design quality andefficiency.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Interior DesignArchitecture or a related field. Masters degree is aplus.
    • Minimum of 10 15years of relevant experience in interior design preferably in theUAE or the GCC region.
    • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp 3dsMax Adobe Creative Suite etc.
    • Strong knowledge of interior design principlesmaterials construction techniques and buildingcodes.
    • Excellentcommunication presentation and interpersonalskills.
    • Ability to workeffectively in a collaborative fastpaced environment and managemultiple projects simultaneously.
    • Attention to detail creativity andproblemsolving skills.
    • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEEDcertification is desirable.
    • Fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic isadvantageous.
