Description

• Be responsible for reviewing theFEED contractor marine engineering designs, including production oftechnical reports, written calculations, design briefs, drawings,schedules, contract documentation and thelike.
• Review and comments on Structural designof marine structures, including preparation of specifications andreports.
• Able to work successfully with othermembers of the design and management team, including, drafters /designers and supervising engineers.
• Followdesign guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively executeassigned project
• Prepare and adhere to assignedbudgets and schedules, integrate team efforts, review work, setpriorities, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner andcommunicate status to lead engineers.
• Checkcompliance with Alliance QA/Safety/Environmentgoals.
• Quality Assurance –Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of theQuality Assurance system .
• Safety –Responsible for personal safety safe workingpractices.
• HSE – Understand andfollow OH&S procedures.
• Review andapprove key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturersor Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendationsincorporating any comments received from theOwner.
• Attend technical meeting with Owner,Licensor, FEED Contractor and Vendors.
• Attendall Project technical sessions by the FEED Contractor such as:Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability,SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID etc.
• Supervise andmanage the review and approval of FEED Contractor's work,ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevantcodes and standards, and industry bestpractices.
• Coordinate the required Engineeringparticipation in the development and analysis of various designoptions and business models. Contribute input and expertise in thedevelopment and analysis of various design options and businessmodels to ensure design optimization and validation for theOwner.
