POSITION SUMMARY

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicatewith guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Performpreventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical roomequipment including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspecttools equipment or machines. Carry equipment (e.g. tools radio).Identify locate and operate all shutoff valves for equipment andall utility shutoffs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventoryand requisition parts and supplies as needed. Communicate each daysactivities and problems that occur to the other shifts usingapproved communication programs and standards. Display basicknowledge or ability to acquire knowledge

• in thefollowing categories: air conditioning and refrigeration electricalmechanical plumbing pneumatic/electronic systems and controlscarpentry and finish skills kitchen equipment vehicles energyconservation and/or general building.
• Performall surface preparation painting minor drywall and wood trim repairlight bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thoroughcleanup of the painting or repair area.
• Testtroubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipmentplumbing (e.g. plunge toilets and unclog drains) electricalcomponents including lamps cosmetic items extension cords vacuumcleaners internet devices replace electrical switches and outletsand other guestroom items.
• Program TVs andperform general housekeeping and engineeringrelated inventoryduties.
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system beforeperforming any maintenance work.
• Performrepairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as externallandscaping sprinklers.
