Job Description:
Junior Designer


Key Responsibilities:

Design Support:
Assist senior designers and architects in creating and refining architectural glass designs. Collaborate on projects and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual appeal and functionality.

Material Selection:

Work with the team to select appropriate glass types, coatings, and finishes to meet project requirements, considering factors such as energy efficiency, safety, and aesthetics.


Concept Development:
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative glass solutions for architectural projects. Contribute to the generation of design concepts that align with the company's vision.

Presentation Preparation:
Assist in creating visually engaging presentations to showcase glass designs to clients, architects, and other stakeholders.

Collaborative Approach:

Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and practicality of design concepts and their successful implementation.


Quality Control:
Review design outputs to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to improve design outcomes.

Project Documentation:
Maintain organized design files and documentation throughout the design process, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.

Continuous Learning:
Seek opportunities for professional development and learning to enhance design skills and stay updated with industry best practices.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of architectural design principles and an understanding of building materials and construction methods.
  • Strong creativity, problemsolving, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with architectural glass and its properties is advantageous but not required.

Salary:
AED2, AED3,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ras alKhaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
